So behind.

My bad. I totally forgot about this until Miss Traylor pointed it out to me via Facebook. A lot has happened the past few weeks, or however long it has been, but I am way too tired to do that now. So sleep and then stories possibly tomorrow. No promises though.... Sweet dreams of sugar plums (Nutcracker season has officially began) :D

Today. Oh man today.

Class, rehearsal, intensive-> private, another class.
Let me explain the third event in this time line, yeah? Well we have "intensives" once a week which is when a small group of people take an hour class to work on specific things. I am in one with 5 other girls and today all 5 of them had to go to rehearsal half way through and I was left for a private. It was really helpful! I could feel my turn out more than normal and I think it is really going to help my improvement. But not I can't stop shaking because I was working so hard and I have another class in about 15 minutes! I ate some M&M's, so bring it on ballet class! (just not too hard please....)

Craziness!

It has been awhile but all for good reason. I have been through a good bit the past week or so (to say the least). First of all my mom came last Thursday (not yesterday) on a little visit that turned out to be a little longer than expected. She was planning on coming to stay Thursday-Monday. Planning. Well Sunday she decided to stay until Tuesday and I could not have been more happy! Not gonna lie, I had an emotional break down just thinking about her leaving. Monday rolls around and I just wasn't feeling very good during my first class. Then it got worse during the break. Even worse in my next class. I was debating on whether or not to go home and got to the point of being miserable so decided it would be best to leave. My mom came and picked me and it went down hill from there. I got back to the house without getting sick but the rest of the night was not as lucky. I'll spare you the details. My mom cancelled her flight again because she didn't want to leave her baby so sick. And man was I sick. The next day I barely out got of bed and my diet consisted of soup, jello, and crackers. Yum yum. The next day, Wednesday, I started to feel like a human again and could eat real food without my stomach feeling too bad. I did not go to dance that day either because I didn't want to push too hard and have a relapse. My mommy rebooked her flight for Thursday and actually left that time. It was too hard to say good bye. Yes, I cried. Oh! Let me go back to Sunday. My aunt was throwing a friend a baby shower and my mom and I volunteered to go get the cake. Bad choice. We treated that cake like it was a priceless artifact and when we arrived at the house the top on fallen over....the gasps were intense when we took the top off and saw it had slide off into the side of the box. I thought my aunt and my mom were going to cry. We called Publix right away and they said to bring it in and they would fix it. Which they did! The second time we got it back in one piece and it was raved about to the shower. My mom and I spent the rest of the day together. Good times. I love my mommy very much. I am so excited about Thanksgiving because I get to see my whole family and all my friends! It will be magically for sure. Anyways, have a wonderful weekend :)

One thing to say for today.

In partnering class today I danced with one of the company guys and I have one thing to say about that: ten pirouettes. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, and a 10. It was like my turning dreams but in real life. So very incredible.

Week Four

So I'm not going to lie, this week has been rough. It has been very hard to convince myself to do things the past few days. Ya know, simple things like: getting out of bed, making my hair look decent, putting on make up, and doing school work at night. The latter is the very hardest! Good news though, I have completed three Sociology lessons (six chapters), 2 government lessons (four chapters), and one english lesson (4 essays). I am currently work on lesson 3 for government and going to start my next english lesson either tonight for tomorrow. I am trying so hard not to stress myself out about school but sometimes it just does not work. I have had to sit out of the very end of two of my classes this week. Monday I had a tummy ache and couldn't finish my second ballet class or do the variations class and today I didn't jump in my first ballet class because my knee is feeling funky. It doesn't hurt that bad but kinda feels like it is twisted and off track. I'm not sure how to explain it but I'm afraid to push it too much because it might injure it. I have also been applying to different colleges, fun fun. I have been loving stalking everyone from Hoover on facebook this week because it is homecoming week! Finally the class of 2012 has some school spirit! I was tempted to wear a toga to class today, but resisted. I miss everyone dearly and pray for everyone every day. If anyone is ever board shoot me a text, tweet, phone call, skype, anything! :)

Goal until May

I have created a goal for myself: I will find some way to enjoy some part of my day. It could from eating a big bowl of ice cream, taking a little shopping trip, taking a longer shower, dancing without thinking about being perfect or anything else really! I think ice cream will be used the most for enjoyment. Also, I am going to stop killing myself with school. Yes, I am going to work very hard to complete it fully but I am not going to stress myself out with it. Ya know why? Because I don't have to! It is time to enjoy this experience and not keep on letting my mind take over with thinking too much. I get that from my daddy. Which by the way, I miss my daddy very much. In fact I miss everyone very much! Thanksgiving break is going to be filled with so many friends and family. It is going to be wonderful! I'm more excited about that than the food and that is saying something. For real though. Well, one more class for today so I should go claim a spot at the barre and start stretching or whatnot. Hope everyone has had a fabulous week and it will continue in that way!

Happy Monday Off!

Can I just say it has been amazing to sleep in the past two days? Okay, it was been amazing to sleep in the past two nights! I needed that sleep more than I knew. I have spent most of today outside reading in my english book and doing sociology. As of right now I have a 100 in all my classes! Yeah, it's only about a week since I started but that is still an accomplishment. I have also started to do college applications, which haven't been as bad as expected. The family is all good. I got some awesome news yesterday: John is coming to visit in October :D I can not wait for that! I miss everyone back home so so much already. I look at everyone's senior year facebook albums all the time. I do miss the football games. I hope everyone is having a great year so far and having tons of fun! Tomorrow starts week three and for some reason I have a feeling it is going to be a killer week. We shall see though!
